Cortex User Group

The Cortex User Group is unique from other such software user groups as it is completely controlled by Cortex customers, not the company. The group has yearly meetings in various cities. Their 18th annual meeting was held in September 2007 in Nashville at the Opryland Hotel. The customer based board members work together starting six months before the meeting to plan the agenda. Cortex is an invited guest and often has the honor of presenting some of the sessions.

In addition to training sessions and industry specific presentations, major software enhancements to our products: anatomic pathology, imaging, web report delivery and medical billing are discussed amongst the meeting attendees. They create a prioritized list of requests and give it to Cortex to be included in future releases. Cortex software is truly customer driven.

The Cortex User Group members stay in touch with Cortex and each other throughout the year via a list server. This forum is used to discuss system features, and general pathology and billing topics.

It is our privilege, after all these years, to continue to be part of the Cortex User Group community. This relationship remains an integral part of our business. 2008 marks the 25th year of business for Cortex. We attribute much of our long term success to the valuable partnership between Cortex and the Cortex User Group.
